What is a tongue piercing?
Tongue piercing is a straight barbell placed through the centre of the tongue, avoiding the vessels beneath.
A tongue piercing is placed on the midline, in front of the lingual frenulum and clear of the blood vessels underneath. We check the map of your tongue first, use a longer titanium bar for the swelling phase, and shorten it once the swelling is gone to protect your teeth and gums.
