Where is NEXA tattoo studio in Istanbul?
Küçükyalı Merkez Mah., Şale Sk. No:18B, 34840 Maltepe / Istanbul — on the Anatolian side, a few minutes from Bostancı, Kartal and Kadıköy and walking distance from Küçükyalı Marmaray station.
Do you speak English?
Yes. Consultations, design sessions and aftercare instructions can all be handled in English, in person or over WhatsApp.
How do I book a tattoo appointment?
Start with a free consultation: send us your idea, size and placement on WhatsApp or through the booking page. We confirm the artist, the price range and the date, and take a deposit to reserve the session.
How much does a tattoo cost?
Price depends on size, detail and how many sessions the piece needs. After the consultation you get a fixed quote before any needle touches skin — no surprises on the day.
Do you do custom designs?
Every tattoo at NEXA is drawn for one person. We do not tattoo a design taken from someone else's body; we use references to build something that belongs to you.
Does a tattoo hurt?
It is uncomfortable rather than unbearable, and it depends on placement — ribs, sternum and inner arm are more sensitive than the outer arm or thigh. We break long sessions with breaks.
Is a touch-up included?
Yes. The first touch-up, usually four to six weeks after the session, is free when you have followed the aftercare instructions.
Can I cover an old tattoo?
In most cases, yes. Bring a clear photo of the existing tattoo to the consultation and we will tell you honestly whether a cover-up, a rework or laser fading first is the right route.
Do you do piercings too?
Yes — ear, nose, eyebrow, navel, lip and tongue piercings, all done by Emir Çankaya with single-use needles and implant-grade titanium jewellery.
What is the minimum age?
18. We ask for photo ID and do not make exceptions, with or without parental consent.
