What is a lip piercing?
Lip piercing is a family of placements around the mouth, fitted with flat-back titanium labrets to protect the teeth.
Labret, medusa, monroe and vertical labret placements each sit differently against the teeth and gums. We measure lip thickness and the gum line, then fit a titanium labret with a flat back disc so the jewellery never grinds against enamel.

Healing
What the healing process looks like
First week
Swelling
Swelling peaks in the first 48 hours. Alcohol-free mouthwash after every meal; soft food and no smoking.
Weeks 2–6
Settling
Swelling drops and the disc settles. Keep lipstick and lip balm off the entry point.
Full healing
6–10 weeks
We downsize the labret once swelling is gone and check the gum line at the same visit.
