Watercolor Tattoo in Istanbul
Watercolor tattoo designs, real photographs and examples from NEXA — a tattoo studio in Maltepe, on the Anatolian side of Istanbul. Colour, allowed to breathe.

What is a watercolor tattoo?
Watercolor tattooing imitates paint on wet paper: soft colour fields, splashes and edges that fade instead of stopping.
Pure watercolor without any structure fades into a bruise over time. We always build an underlying skeleton — a fine line drawing or a subtle black anchor — so the piece keeps its shape while the colour stays loose and luminous.
